I tried HyperDrive go-karting in Sentosa and it was a super fun experience. The three-level indoor track is exciting, the electric karts are smooth, and the air-conditioned venue is a big plus. A great adrenaline activity, especially with friends, though the race feels a bit short for the price.

Such a fun experience. The registration procedure and safety briefing was well done. Took my family of different skill abilities. The adventurous could go fast and the not so adventurous could be cautious. Carts were very adjustable and provided a screen on the steering wheel to see track times. Lots of fun

I had an amazing experience at Hyperdrive. And I want to commend the staff for the amazing job they did. Earnest was very kind in helping with registration, even when it was crowded… me and my partner came on New Year’s Day (IT WAS CROWDED) During registration, Aleya came up to us and gave a head’s up that the earliest slot they can give was around 8pm (we came at 5pm), which was nice as she managed our expectations. Ash and Vanessa managed to squeeze us into a 7.20pm slot. Then we ran into our first issue, I was charged for 2 balaclavas, even though we had our own. With steadfast response, Aleya reassured me that they cancelled the transaction and the money will be returned back. The environment was so clean and the process was seamless. Once it was our session, we were greeted by Farah. Her warm greeting brightened our moods from the long wait and Yoakin was friendly delivered a clear safety briefing. Both of them assured our safety by ensuring the right sized helmets were on both me and my partner. When we were in the pitlane, Shen Wee and Wilson ensured our safety by checking and double checking our helmets and belts. What surprised me was another staff, Zan came to check our helmets and safety belts one more time, that really eased our minds that safety was such a priority here. During the race, there were some crashes, some was stuck at the wall. But it was quickly cleared by Wilson so the race can run smoothly! All in all, it was an amazing time at Hyperdrive and it wouldn’t have been so smooth if not for each and every one of the amazing staff. We will definitely come back again! Special Mention: Faris was so friendly to answer my enquires about the track, he had a warm smile the whole time and was so passionate about his job, even I cannot stop smiling while talking to him.

The go-kart track here is actually good, fun to drive, and the karts are quite fast. Unfortunately, a lot of track time is wasted because beginners and experienced drivers are mixed in the same session. Many newcomers don’t fully understand the rules, which often leads to crashes or spins and causes frequent yellow flags, making the experience less enjoyable. Hopefully in the future they can separate the sessions into different levels like in Indonesia: beginner, advanced, and pro!

We had a 10-hour layover in Singapore, and with two Formula 1-obsessed boys, visiting a karting venue was at the top of their wish list. When we arrived, every time slot for the day was completely sold out. Still, thanks to the manager’s special touch and genuine kindness, our kids were accommodated, with Wilson going above and beyond to make it happen. Thank you for fitting us in and turning what could have been a disappointing stopover into one of the highlights of our time in Singapore. It truly made our day so much better.

Ernest showed a very professional attitude when dealing with customers. Instead of trying to please them at the attractions, his actions effectively ensured that patrons would think twice before coming back again. Honestly, I wish I had a coworker like Ernest—someone who helps chase customers away—so my job would be much more chill. Came earlier than 7pm, somehow still got blamed for being “late.” We booked through Travelodka. The listing clearly showed Game of Karts, but the tickets issued were for Senior Kart. We understood this was likely Travelodka’s mistake. Credit where it’s due: Atikah handled it properly and emailed us the correct ticket details so we could clarify. Then things went downhill. Our queue number was skipped, and they called next number instead. When we asked about it, the staff downstairs immediately accused us of being late and kept pushing our timeslot back—even though we were there early. Apparently, getting skipped in the system is now the customer’s fault. We were worried about missing UltraGolf, so we asked to play earlier since we didn’t do anything wrong. Atikah later informed us that UltraGolf staff agreed to let us enter slightly later, but that meant we had to rush because UltraGolf closes at 9pm. Despite all this, we were fine. Atikah did proper customer recovery by switching us to Game of Karts (instead of the wrongly issued Senior Kart ticket). We played, finished the game, and were chatting briefly afterward. That’s when a staff member named Earnest decided to shine. Instead of doing his job, he repeatedly nagged at us in a sarcastic tone, telling us to hurry to UltraGolf or “later you blame us.” Funny thing is—we were early. The delay was caused by staff skipping our queue number, not us. When we spoke up, Earnest didn’t apologise. He laughed. Professional, right? Later, the coworker came over—not to de-escalate, but to accuse us of shouting at his friend. No attempt to correct the sarcasm, no apology, just pure defensiveness. We were already leaving peacefully until Ernest decided to add one more unnecessary comment to stir things up. As we were leaving, we were told, “No one plays golf at night.” Then why are there floodlights at UltraGolf, and why is the operating hour clearly stated until 9pm? Overall, the staff were untrained, sarcastic, and unprofessional. Customer service here doesn’t retain customers—it actively chases them away. If that’s the goal, congratulations, mission accomplished.

Truly an unforgettable customer service experience. Special shoutout to Earnest, whose mastery of sarcasm and laughter under pressure is nothing short of impressive. Instead of the usual boring apologies or solutions, he chose to keep things entertaining with nagging comments and a mocking tone. If the goal is to remind customers how not to feel welcome, this was executed flawlessly. Five stars for consistency.

HyperDrive was amazing, the location exceeded my expectations. It was amazing time spent there. Took me some time to find that but 1000% worth it. This activity should have been more renowned here definately as the quality of instruments and all are truly top notch.
